I believe that each person is unique and has the capacity for growth and positive change and that the process of development continues throughout life. Each stage of life offers new opportunities for consolidating old gains and learning new strengths.
My role is to facilitate the process of health. I believe that health consists of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions and that these act together to form each person’s overall sense of well being.
I have found that people have within themselves deep sources of wisdom and knowledge about their illness or problem. Part of my job is to help people access this information and learn how to use it to improve their functioning and lives.
Therefore, I seek to empower my patients to have their own skills to facilitate development.
